Work and Days - The Fabrics of Power, 2026

Curated by Kim Anni Bassen, this exhibition deals with the history of textile industry.

"What do we hear in the echos of still machines? And what traces of industrial history are woven into the fabric of this place?

Drawing on languages of historical modernism, Vibe Overgaard translates the industrial mechanisms of the loom into ceramic sculptures. In doing so, she evokes the physicality of labour, its rhythms, and the interdependencies of humans and machines. Exploring the tension between alienation and agency within capitalist production, she conceives the interior of the machine as a symbol for the global systems outside."
